Eligibility and Admissions
For LL.B Semester Courses
A candidate seeking for an admission to the LL.B. semester course has to qualify in the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strict in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidate.
For LL.M courses
A candidate seeking for an admission to LL.M. Semester Course has to qualify in the LL.M. Entrance Examination conducted by the Osmania University for that academic year. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force in respect of the statutory reservation of seats under categories of candidates.

University college of Law has a glorious past of 100 years. It is accredited as a five star college by NAAC. It is accredited to the famous Osmania University. This college has the distinction of being rated as one of the top ten law colleges in the entire country for two successive year’s viz., in 2000 and 2001 by India Today Magazine.
Facilities
This college has one of the best law libraries in South India and has a good collection of text books, reports, law journals, commentaries and thesis.All the leading journals like the All India Reporter, Supreme Court Cases, Journal of Indian Law Institute and Indian Bar Review are subscribed regularly in the library.
Foreign Journals like All England Reports, Cambridge Law Journal, Harvard Law Review and Modern Law Review are subscribed in the Main Library of the University. It caters to the needs of LL.B. and LL.M. students and also Ph.D. scholars. At present there are approximately 20,000 books and periodicals in the library. The Library is equipped with computer system.
Recently, the AIR CDROM of Supreme Court Judgments from 1950 to 2001 has been procured and added to the library collection. A CD of all the laws of Andhra Pradesh has also been added to the library. There is a full-fledged computer lab with 10 systems with internet connectivity attached to the library. They have a well equipped Moot court room for students.
