VTU B.Tech 6th Semester Results 2011
Visvesvaraya Technological University has declared the B.Tech 6th Semester Examinations Results 2011, which was held in the month of May 2011. Candidates who had attempted the VTU B.Tech 6th semester examinations 2011 can check their results easily by clicking on the above link. FYJC Online Admissions 2011
The department of school education of Maharashtra has launched a website for admission to the junior colleges in Maharashtra. First Year Junior College (FYJC) Online Admissions 2011-2012 Website has been starting functioning from 17th May 2011. The online admission process for FYJC classes is applicable to all the recognized junior colleges in MMR, and their participation in this process is compulsory. Students, who have passed SSC or equivalent examination from any recognized board, seeking admissions to FYJC classes in any of the junior colleges in MMR, must participate in the online admission process.
FYJC Online Admission 2011 Important Dates
1. Online Filling of Application Forms: June 22nd to July 7th 2011
2. Preparation for Merit List: 8th to 11th July 2011
General Merit List (Arts, Science & Commerce)
Declaration of 2nd Merit List: 1st August 2011 at 5:00 pm
Payment of Fees for 2nd Merit List: 2nd, 3rd, 4th August bet 10:00 to 2:00
Preparation of 3rd & Final Merit List: 5th, 6th and 7th August 2011 at 5 pm
Declaration of 3rd and final Merit List: 8st August 2011 at 5:00 pm
Payment of Fees for 3rd and final Merit List: 9th, 10th August bet 10:00 to 2:00
10th or SSC pass students, who are looking to apply for FYJC admission online, can fill up and submit the admission forms online. FYJC Applicants will have to follow the instructions given below in order to fill their FYJC Online Admission forms correctly. Six Tips to complete the online admission which is given below
1. Take online visual tour of the application.
2. Be ready with all the required documents mentioned in the list in relevant section. (e.g. If you are an applicant, visit the section ‘Applicants and Parents’ for the list)
3. Remember or make a note of your school area, status (e.g. fresher), board and seat number. You have to enter it in the online application.
4. Give your correct mobile number.
5. Read and follow all the screen instructions carefully.
6. Promptly contact school or guidance centre for any help, read FAQs
How to Apply for FYJC Online Admissions 2011 for Junior Colleges in Mumbai
1. You have to first buy the 2011 FYJC online admissions information booklet from school / guidance center. This booklet contains a Login ID and Password. Read the booklet before you fill in the online application form. It is a good idea to ask for guidance from your school teachers / Principal to understand the online admission procedure. You should also check out the visual tour of the online procedure at the official website @: 2011 FYJC online admissions official website
2. Ensure that you have all the requisite documents before you begin filling in the online application form. Check out the documents needed @: 2011 FYJC online admissions official website
Note: Applicants other than open category or open category applicants claiming any reservation, get the form and documents approved from school or guidance center.
3. Read all the instructions and guidelines before you fill in the online application form @: 2011 FYJC online admissions official website.
4. Log in using the ‘Login ID’ and ‘password’ given in your information booklet for your first login.
5. You should immediately change your password and keep this password in mind for future logins. Also, put in the security questions & keep the answers in your mind.
6. Take a printout of all credentials for later reference.

8. Confirm and re-check all details in the online application form.
9. Next will follow the online form for selecting options. Here, you need to put in your stream wise options for colleges in the ‘Option Form’.

11. The admission process
• The first merit list will be published as soon as the results are declared.
• If this merit list shows an allocation of a college for you, you can secure your admission in allocated college.
• You will continue to remain in the online admission process to give you a chance for betterment in the next rounds.
• If you have not been allocated a college in the first merit list, you have to wait for next merit list.
• A second merit list will be published with allocation of college.
